The Pump Room focuses a lot on the fact that they’re a restaurant and party venue, but more importantly (to us, at least), they’re also a microbrewery.

Producing a number of ‘labour intensive, hand-crafted beers‘, which includes the following permanent available hand-crafted brews:

  • The Pump Room Lager – an easy-drinking, golden, crisp beer, 4.5% ABV
  • Scottish Ale – A hearty roasted with malt character and a slightly sweet finish, 5.5% ABV
  • India Pale Ale – Award-winning ale with strong hops aroma and malty flavour, 6.2% ABV
  • Wheat Ale – Extremely smooth, pure white head and cloudy body, 5.0% ABV
  • Golden Ale – Balanced pale ale with assertive hops aroma and citrus flavour, 5.2% ABV

The Pump Room’s microbrewery is located on-site at their venue in Clark Quay, meaning your beer travels but a few steps from where it was brewed. Since 2008 and they also have The Pump Room Gastro Pub in the Alfresco Area of Great World City.

Ingredients for The Pump Room’s beers are imported from Australia, New Zealand, Germany and the USA and, says the blurb on their website, “all of The Pump Room’s beer are made from only grains, hops, yeast and water, with nothing else added.
