More about Cape Town Festival of Beer
Cape Town Festival of Beer stakes claim to being the Southern Hemisphere’s largest beer festival. It’s been a notable Cape Town event since inception in 2009. Cape Town Festival of Beer 2017 takes place on 1, 2 & 3 December at the Hamilton’s Rugby Club in Green Point, Cape Town.
Bringing even more beer to the table than previous years, the CTFOB 2017 showcases over 200 beers and ciders from 60 breweries, both local and international. Some breweries also brewed limited edition beers specifically for the festival.
A weekend of entertainment awaits at the Cape Town Festival of Beer. Look forward to meeting your favourite beer’s brewer, food stalls, live music, and live sport on the big screen. You can also learn more about artisanal beer appreciation and the perfect food to pair it with.
The Cape Town Festival of Beer runs over 3 days, each offering something a little different.
The Friday session of CTFOB is ideal for winding down the week, or better still, winding down the year. For just such an occasion CTFOB is offering a discount, on Friday only, to companies wanting to book tables with catered platters for year-end functions.
The Saturday session of CTFOB is the festival’s main day, with sports on all day and beer flowing fast. Prepare for a day of fun in the sun with a beer and friends.
The Sunday session of CTFOB is more family-orientated. Bring along the little ones, kids under 12 are free, and enjoy a day out.
As for ticket prices, expect to pay from R60 per person up to R6,400 per group on the Friday, R150 per person on the Saturday, and R100 per person on the Sunday. The fee includes entry to the festival, unlimited tastings, but excludes glasses, available at an additional R30 each.
