On 30 July Shokran Events Venue once again hosts the KuierKraft Innie Boorde Craft Beer Festival.
With easy access to the east of Pretoria, the venue is perfect for upmarket festivals. Already Shokran boasts a well-established, biannual wine festival, the Fijnwyn Wine & Food Festival.
Being synonymous with popular wine festivals in the capital, Shokran was keen to address the dearth of craft beer festivals on Pretoria’s east side. That desire gave birth to the first KuierKraft Innie Boorde in 2015, which was a huge success.
One of the key ingredients of the festival’s success is taking the craft beer festival concept, and making it a day out that the whole family can enjoy.
KuierKraft Innie Boorde further delivers on the expectation of thirsty festival-goers, with a lineup of rare, new and tasty artisanal beer breweries, from who to taste and buy great South African craft beer.
Breweries represented at the festival includes the newer Zeppelin Craft Beer, Legends Brewery and Bullcook Brewing Company, plus brewers that have been around for longer like Hazeldean, Ubuntu Kraal’s Soweto Gold, Black Horse, The Cockpit Brewhouse and Brauhaus am Damm.
Good beer deserves good food and there the festival also delivers. Popular food trucks are amongst the delectable array of gourmet food stalls on offer. Brining it all together is live music by Azurdee and the Blue River Band, creating a soothing atmosphere in which to enjoy your hand-crafted beer and deli foods.
To keep the experience exclusive, limited tickets are available for KuierKraft Innie Boorde, so it’s essential to book early to avoid disappointment. Bring the whole family and enjoy this fun day out as there will be kids entertainment and pony rides, all whilst enjoying a picnic atmosphere amidst almond and pecan nut plantations.
