The month of the craft beers has arrived in Potchefstroom, meaning it’s time again for Round Table 47 Craft Beer Festival.
In its 3rd year, the craft beer festival takes place at Snowflake in Potchefstroom on 30 July and kicks off at 10am to continue till late.
Festival with a Cause
An exciting development, as Round Table 47, a young men’s organisation, raises funds for the less fortunate in their area.
The Round Table 47 Craft Beer Festival is their biggest fundraising project. All proceeds of the festival are put back into the community.
All together the brewers offer 30 distinct craft beers and ciders to enjoy in Potchefstroom this July. A selection of wine is also available.
Craft Beer & Then Some
Almost as well-known for their food as their craft beers, the Potch craft beer festival will offer plenty with which to line your stomach.
The epic lamb spit returns, along with pulled pork, boerie rolls, burgers, streak strips in sauce, corndogs, biltong, droëwors, chip sticks, cupcakes and gourmet coffee.
DJ Andre, the resident DJ at GP’s & Boerebar, DJ Wags, winner of 5FM’s Ultimix @ 6, and Gavin Edwards, Voice SA finalist, is set to entertain the beer and culinary adventurers.
And never fear, the Super Rugby Semi Finals haven’t been forgotten. Big screens are on hand to screen the rugby action.
From 10am to 2pm there’s a kids play area for those 12 and younger. After 2pm the craft beer festival is an adult-only a fair, and no under 18s are allowed.
